Muscular Moving Men

I have moved several times in my life, most of which were long distances of 1,900 to 2,400 miles. I was so impressed with the communication I received from the driver Damon. He kept me informed of his arrival and strategies for loading the moving truck at my home. Damon and the two packers, Cris and Mike, were friendly, polite, respectful, and incredibly efficient. They all helped to keep my stress level at a minimum. I would definitely use and recommend Muscular Moving Men again in the future.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $9750

Let’s work backwards, and I’ll give you all the details of my move. I recently moved from Utah to Texas, and was very nervous because it was my first time moving out of state. I heard horror stories about movers stealing peoples things or holding their stuff hostage. I found Muscular movers through a local trusted service.

DAY OF ARRIVAL- The day my things arrived. I woke up to a text early, letting me know where the driver was at. Even though he had estimated he couldn’t arrive till noon. I had told him that it was urgent and so he told me he was going to arrive at 8 AM. To my delight… He actually showed up early.

He was positive, and really encouraging of the other helpers he had. he made everyone smile and was really fun to be around. he also took special care of all of my things and was an excellent communicator. I could not be more impressed and would hire this man any day.

Prior to moving day I had been really stressed because they had called to ask if I could move my moving dates till later. Due to some snowstorms, some of their trucks were delayed my things arrived a few days late. I was really frustrated because I had to move a bunch of flights. They were patient and worked with me and were highly communicative.

I could explain more details, but needless to say, I’m very impressed with this company and would definitely hire them again. The mover that came to deliver. My things was one of the most positive people I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with, and I was very impressed. They took great care of my things, and unloaded them all in the correct rooms.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4500

This company should be ashamed of themselves. All they had to do was move one simple couch. They scratch the floors, my white couch was dragged on the ground and the workers acted like they had no clue what they were doing. I spoke with the manager David who swore up and down he would take care of it and asked to send me pictures. Then suddenly 6 months later I get a bill from the cleaners they recommended. Now conveniently they tell me I "didn't go through the proper channels" and he "doesn't" recall any conversation about making it right. Shame on them. Buyer Beware... so will the BBB Beware... Do Not use them

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $579

I chose Muscular Moving Men because I knew I had to be out of one house weeks before I could move into my new house and I knew they would store everything. The guys that came and picked everything up were efficient and took great care with our furniture. James, Mel and Juan delivered it to my new home. They were super professional and nice too. The guys listened and made sure the furniture was placed exactly where I wanted. I felt more like they were family than contractors.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3500

Muscular movers were efficient , friendly, and prompt. The movers took time and asked questions to make sure I was happy with process. They were hard workers, never taking a break , starting at 7:30am until 5:30pm until the move was completed.

The men moved specialty furniture, piano and antique organ and took great care to make sure they were packed well to prevent damage. They also asked how I wanted the storage facility locker to be filled with all of my house goods, bikes, boxes, patio sets, tables, china cabinet , and bedroom furniture.

Would use this company again.

Excellent all the way around from communication to the moving men themselves. A couple scratched broken items. To be expected.

My critique would be the final cost. Came out to be $282 per hour. This in my opinion is price coughing to the extreme. As I was recovering from a surgery and required a quick move from 3rd floor to 1st floor within the same complex fairly quickly I went for the high estimate, which was two hours short of the time spent. Of course raising the total.

Understandable as no one can guess precisely.

If I win the Lottery, I'd use Muscular Moving again. As they were overall excellent. Unfortunately until that happens I'd be forced to search out more affordable options in future.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $194500

We recently sold a cabin in the White Mountains and had MMM move our belongings from there to CO. I can not say enough good things about the entire experience. There was always great communication throughout the process. On the day of the move, the driver Louis texted me to confirm his arrival time. He was very professional and informative. His helpers, Angel and Carl, were great! All three were extremely careful with our belongings and thorough with their wrapping of the furniture. They were pleasant and hard working. Our things were delivered to Colorado and placed in storage in a timely manner and again, Louis was in contact with me as to the time frame. We had a large table and chairs brought back to Phoenix and they were delivered the following morning in perfect condition. We are very happy with the experience with MMM and would use them again!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6340

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is a nightmare! They completely failed to deliver on time, and to make matters worse, they only delivered half of my belongings. The other half was sent to a different state, and I'm still waiting for it to show up after 10 days.

When they finally delivered part of my stuff, it was in terrible condition. Items were broken, the TV wasn't even packed in a box, and several pieces of furniture were missing. The level of care was absolutely appalling.

I've tried speaking with the Operations Manager, David A., and the General Manager, David Orla, but neither has had the decency to return my calls. Instead, they advised me to use their laughable insurance policy of $0.60 per pound. This is a complete joke, especially since half of my items are still missing!

To top it all off, they've already charged my credit card in full, despite failing to deliver what I paid for. This company is nothing but a scam. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from these crooks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7696

Mixed reviews for this company and will not use again. I chose the company because they included shuttles in the estimate. They said that other companies would not include shuttles, then would overcharge. My driver only used one shuttle, so I ended up paying $900 for nothing. The client pays whether drivers need the shuttles or not. I thought the company was being transparent and fair, but they ended up overcharging me. Communications were a challenge during the move as well, with different information given by the driver and two different managers about the delivery date. Nice people, bad service.
